Issue/Introduction

When plan for using Service Management Virtual Analyst/Aria chatbot, one question is where the rasa should be installed and what port it runs on. The tech doc answers these questions.

Environment

Release : 17.3

Component : SERVICE DESK MANAGER

Resolution

Python/rasa/stacy/language pack should be installed on a separate server other than Service Desk application or secondary server.  The port number is 5005. As such, make sure this port is not

taken by other app and if there is a firewall between rasa server and SDM app/secondary server, port 5005 should be open. It is not recommended to change this port number.
