Cleanup ACF2

Issue/Introduction

Reviewing the CA Cleanup database for reference dates, some logonids are showing updates but have not been used for
years - how can this happen?

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA Cleanup for ACF2

Resolution

One parameter in particular that could have an impact on this situation is
TESTREF.
Per the techdocs for cleanup

AT5PARM Parameters
The AT5PARM parameters are as follows:

NOTESTREF

Specifies that reference information is not updated for users and resources that are specified in the ACF TEST command.
This option is effective only when running CA ACF2.

TESTREF

Specifies that reference information is updated for users and resources that are specified in the ACF TEST command.
This parameter is the default and is not typically specified as a parameter.

If you have the default of TESTREF specified, a logonid will have its refdate updated
if it is used in a "TEST" command.
