AT-TLS: Message "OMVS Error: EDC5111I Permission denied. (errno2=0x744C7246)"

Issue/Introduction

AT-TLS rules were created for the XCOM task and when the task was started the following messages were received for each of the AT-TLS ports:

OMVS Error: EDC5111I Permission denied. (errno2=0x744C7246)"

 

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA XCOM Data Transport for z/OS

Cause

The ports in question were assigned to another AT-TLS rule for another XCOM task.

Resolution

The Systems Programmer reviewed the AT-TLS rules on the system and corrected the profile member for the TCPIP stack to make sure that the ports were assigned to the XCOM task in question.
