Issue/Introduction

On one of the URL we need to monitor just the URL certificate expire.

This URL is not reachable. We don't need monitoring on if url is up/down.

Just the cert expiry alarm

Resolution

You will need to monitor the URL. The URL is tied together with the certificate expiration date. 

When you type a URL or follow a link to a secure website, your browser will check the certificate for the following characteristics:

1. The website address matches the address on the certificate.
2. The certificate is signed by a certificate authority that the browser recognizes as a "trusted" authority.
