Data Aggregator does not show a Data Collector association

Issue/Introduction

In the DX NetOps Performance Management Monitored Devices section the Data Aggregator item does not show a Data Collector associated to it.

Why does the Data Aggregator item have no Data Collector assigned to it?

Go to Administration->Monitored Items Management->Monitored Devices in the Performance Center web UI. Expand the "All Data Aggregators" section. Select the Data Aggregator.

Note as this sample shows the DC Host value is empty.

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

No SNMP Managed Devices have been discovered by any Data Collectors known to the Data Aggregator.

Resolution

Discover at least one SNMP Managed Device using a Data Collector listed in the Data Collector Status page.

Once the device is discovered, the Details tab for the Data Aggregator will now show up with a DC Host value configured.
