The SMG (Symantec Mail Gateway) Control Centre (CC) version 10.7.4-13 fails to communicate with a scanner after it has been upgraded from 10.7.3-5 to 10.7.4-13. Connecting to the Scanner via putty shows that the system has been updated and the services running.
After a few hours, communication between the CC and the Scanner resume as expected. Is there a way to force the detection of the update by the control center?

Restarting the control center and then restarting the agent service on each SMG scanner, one at a time. should force them to resync.
On the command line run "service agent restart
