What is causing the above abend?

Environment

Release : View 12.2

Resolution

The problem occurred because there was a Deliver Distribution ID of ALLPAGES that referenced over 525,000 reports, and each time the ALLPAGES ID was used in EXP mode, and a Report ID of * was used, the S0C4 error would occur.

Rather than apply the below fix, the customer thought it better that there should be a cleanup of their Deliver databases, so that there would not be the ability to reference that number of reports.

Once the cleanup of the Deliver databases occurred, the S0C4 problem no longer occurred.

S0C4 abend in RMOGAM module when View online user performs primary selection
in EXP mode and user's distid references 524,288 or more reports in the
Deliver database.

SYMPTOMS:
S0C4 abend after pressing enter key on View Primary Selection Menu in EXP
mode.

IMPACT:
User is unable to display list of reports in View in EXP mode.
