Resolution

Running an archive either via an SCL or a batch utility, add parm "CLEAN" per example below.

When running SCL 0ARCHIVE or batch utility GJTRJARC, add the parm=CLEAN. CLEAN removes old, missing events, and orphaned event-related records. This will have no impact on your active workload.

Example:

SCL:

*EVENTNM TIME DATE DEPS RELEASE1RELEASE2RELEASE3RELEASE4 PROCESSP
*        *    *    *     *       *       *       *        *
0ARCHIVE ASAPS*                                           DAILY
+                       IP=ARCH,ALLC,CLEAN                DAILY

Batch utility GJTRJARC:

//$$$$$$@ EXEC PGM=GJTRJARC,PARM='ARCH,ALLC,CLEAN'
//STEPLIB  DD  DSN=jobtrac.CAILIB,DISP=SHR
//         DD  DSN=datacom.CUSLIB,DISP=SHR
//         DD  DSN=datacom.r12andhigher.CAAXLOAD,DISP=SHR
//         DD  DSN=datacom.r11.CAILIB,DISP=SHR
//SYSPRINT DD  SYSOUT=*
