VIP Enterprise Gateway CSR Generation Fails with Invalid Input

Issue/Introduction

Generating a CSR from the VIP Enterprise Gateway (EGW) fails with error 'Invalid Input'.

Cause

Whitespace not being truncated properly.

Resolution

This is a known issue and was addressed in the VIP EGW 9.9.2 patch.

VIP EGW servers experiencing this issue will need to update to version 9.9.2 or utilize the workaround by removing whitespaces from the form fields. For example, replace ACME Corp. with ACME_Corp. Alternatively, the Digicert CSR generation tool can be used from the VIP EGW.
