Update Database Password to Passphrase with OM Web Viewer 12.1

Issue/Introduction

The userid & password for Db2 access are stored in the configuration file - WVprofile.properties.  
We have been asked to update the password to a passphrase.  
Do you have a job-aid or documentation for this process? 

 

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• IBM Db2

Resolution

Web Viewer 12.1 does not support passphrase for connection to the database, only for the repository connection.
The password for the database is encrypted in the WVprofile.properties file.
