Question:

What is SMRT Option 22?

Answer:

SMRT Optional parameter OPTION 022 is used to allow or disallow ACL/E execution on the Main TPX Menu panel.  (Note: SMRT option 13 Optional Parameters, not option 8 Operational Parameters) 

CA strongly recommends leaving the parm set to N. 

When ACL/E is not allowed (OPTION 022: N), attempting to execute an ACL on the TPX main menu will generate this error message:

ACL is the TPX scripting language.  The full name is Automated Conversation Language/Extended (ACL/E).  This is a high-level programming language oriented to the 3270 keyboard.
