Can I convert an Autosys v1 scheduler to an Autosys v2 scheduler type and maintain run history?

Resolution

You cannot convert an Autosys v1 scheduler to an Autosys v2 (Next Generation) scheduler.

You can only add an Autosys v2 (Next Generation) scheduler, when adding a new scheduler, from the Advanced tab.


You also cannot import run history from an Autosys v1 scheduler type to an Autosys v2 scheduler type.


If you plan to use an Autosys v2 scheduler for the Simulation Feature, we recommend adding either a duplicate scheduler as an Autosys v2 type, or setting up a separate AAI instance and adding the v2 scheduler there in order to keep historical run data.
