APM isolation view icon not showing up in AXA Sessions

Issue/Introduction

Please explain what is needed to get an isolation view URL and isolation view is created.

Release : SAAS

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

There are three use cases based on the values found in the AXA network event.

Case #1 apm_webname and and apm_hostname both present . Create an Isolation view and map icon in session list. Filter on apm_webname (the application).

Case #2 apm_hostname only is present . Create an Isolation view and map icon in session list. Filter on apm_hostname.

Case #3 Neither apm_webname and and apm_hostname are present . No isolation view is created. The map icon field stays blank.

 

Additional Information

If the hostname is used and the webname is there, check that the correct tracer is being used.
