Issue/Introduction

When running XPSConfig command and even setting option 113-LogTrace to
false, the Policy Server still generates traces.

How to make the Policy Server stop to generate the traces when option
113 is set to false ?

Environment

Policy Server 12.8SP3 on RedHat 7

Cause

At first glance, whenever 113-LogTrace is set to set TRUE or FALSE,
the Policy Server produces traces if :

  114-LogTraceConfig

and

  119-LogTraceOutput

have a value and point to a file on the disk.

Resolution

Trace logs can be "Enable" or "Disable" by configuring the XPSConfig
Parameter "114-LogTraceConfig".

The removal of option 113 is planned in further release. To solve the
current issue, set "Enable" or "Disable" Trace logs by configuring the
XPSConfig Parameter "114-LogTraceConfig".
