Issue/Introduction

We're running XPSConfig command and even if we set option 113-LogTrace
to false, the Policy Server still generates traces.

How can we fix that and make the Policy Server stop to generate the
traces when option 113 is set to false ?

Cause

At first glance, whenever we set TRUE or FALSE as value of the
113-LogTrace, the Policy Server produces traces if :

  114-LogTraceConfig

and

  119-LogTraceOutput

have a value and point to an file on the disk.

Environment

Policy Server 12.8SP3 on RedHat 7

Resolution

You'll be able to "Enable" or "Disable" Trace logs by configuring the
XPSConfig Parameter "114-LogTraceConfig".

The removal of option 113 is planned in further release. To solve the
current issue, set "Enable" or "Disable" Trace logs by configuring the
XPSConfig Parameter "114-LogTraceConfig".
