Issue/Introduction

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Open Project in MSP
2. Create one task and set to 2 edays (Make sure the task does not have assignments)
3. Change the % Complete of the task
4. Save the project to Clarity and close MSP
5. Open Project in clarity: % Complete shows correctly
6. Open project again in MSP and view the task % Complete.

Expected Results:

% Complete value remains the same

Actual Results:

% Complete reduces to different value

 

Cause

This has been investigated as Defect DE59154

Environment

Clarity Version - 15.8.1 Patch 1, 15.9
Microsoft Project 2016, Microsoft Project 2019

Resolution

Defect DE59154 will be fixed as from Clarity PPM 15.9.2

Workaround:

Add a dummy assignment to the task, but this is not viable for milestones since they can't have assignments
