APM SAP build 10.7.0.279: /work temp files

Issue/Introduction

 

Duplicate directories appear in the /work folder within the EM installation:

Whenever the EM is restarted, the temp folders for many of the deployed web applications are recreated in /work.

This results in permanently increasing disk usage.

This problem is exacerbated in SAP EM where many extra web applications are deployed as .war into the webapps folder.

On Windows even the "librocksdbjni*.dll" is duplicated.

Resolution

 

There has been a code improvement where expanded webapps are cleared after every restart to avoid unnecessary use of disk space. Will be released in 10.7 SP4
