Device model is automatically deleting soon after modeling in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

Soon after modeling a device in Spectrum, the device model is automatically deleted.

Environment

Release : Any

Component : Spectrum Discovery and Modeling

Cause

The issue may be with a Real Time update Global Collection. During the modeling process, the model is getting added and then removed from a Real Time Update Global Collection.

Resolution

Reproduce the issue. Immediately after the model is created, click on the Events tab in the Component Detail panel and check for events where the model is added and then removed from a Global Collection during the modeling process. If seen, check the Global Collection to see if it configured to update Real Time. If so, change the Global Collection to update periodically and recreate the model to see if the issue reoccurs.
