Preserving a Catalog Service Offering in Service Point after running pdm_reindex

Issue/Introduction

After running pdm_reindex, one may find featured service offerings removed from Service Point.  The following describes how to retain a given service offering that is featured in Service Point. 

Environment

Release : 17.3

Component : XFLOW INTERFACE FOR SDM

Resolution

Add a Service Option Group to the service offering, and the service offerings will remain in place in Service Point after running reindex.

For offerings that should not result in a request being created, to remove the "Submit" button that presents when adding the offering to a Service Option Group, please check "Informational Service Option" check box in Service Option group settings.
