Issue/Introduction

When using the SMTP driver, what are the default values for the email keywords like TO, FROM, SUBJECT and FILENAME?

Resolution

The default "FROM" email address is the userid that created the file, that is, the file owner being the domain (@xxx) taken from the TCPPRT keyword value.

"If you do not specify email parameters, the file is sent by email to the file creator's mailbox by default. The default values are:

FROM=&UID@&TCPPRT
TO=&UID@&TCPPRT
SUBJECT=File:99999 name: ccccccc - programmer's name field
FILENAME=&FNM.&PRM"
