Issue/Introduction

We have an agent based SSO configuration with SharePoint application using CA SharePoint SSO Agent. For the current configuration, we have created a provider (rculturesso) and is associated with an authentication URL.

Now the customer has created one more web application naming PWA and will have a new URL and requires SSO using the same provider (rculturesso) which has a different Authentication URL.

1--> Is the above scenario possible?

2--> OR Do we have to have a new server and install one more agent for this new web application and create a new provider with the new authentication URL?

Environment

Release : 12.8

Component : SITEMINDER -WEB AGENT FOR APACHE

Resolution

Yes, We can can create multiple SharePoint Connections for separate SharePoint Applications pointing at separate SiteMinder Domains to create the new connections

Each SharePoint Connection must use it's own Signing Certificate due to a restriction on SharePoint that each TIP utilize a unique certificate.
