initautosys.exe and missing MSVCR100.dll

Issue/Introduction

On new type of Windows VM built in cloud service we are facing following issues when trying to use Autosys client like this:

cmd.exe /c initautosys.exe -i <AUTOSERV>

Error says:

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem."

Release : 11.5

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

Those ms*.dll files are typically available on Windows machines, via the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

Please confirm they are present and are in a location in your PATH statement.

If they are not present, load the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and update the PATH variable as needed.
