API error Siteminder does not allow us to obtain information.

Issue/Introduction

 

We're running a perl script to obtain Siteminder session for a given
user and the script returns error :

    LookupEntry() failed with error -1 The interface now has an
    additional optional argument. at
    /opt/CA/siteminder/CLI/myprogram.pl line 46, <DATA> line 522.

How can we fix that ?

 

Environment

 

  Policy Server 12.7 on RedHat 6;
  User Store on CA Directory 14.1;

 

Resolution

 

Upgrade the environment to the latest 12.8SP4 to solve this issue.
