Upgrade Stuck and Running pre-installation scripts

Issue/Introduction

The install from 20.2 to 20.2.2 failed with the following errors in the preinst log file.

Cause

The problem appears to be the result of an Anti Virus tool scanning the D:\win32app\Spectrum\NT-Tools\SRE\bin\cygncursesw-10.dll file

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

It is recommended to exclude the $SPECROOT directory from any Anti-Virus scanning as outlined in the following KD article:

Reboot the server If you are still experiencing issues after disabling the anti-virus software or excluding the Spectrum directory.
