LDAP Error DSID-03100787 at login

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to log into the target system, the following error is displayed in the logs

U00051002 LDAP message 'SearchResultDone' with result code 'referral', message: 0000202B: RefErr: DSID-03100787, data 0, 1 access points
 ref 1: 'yourdomain.com'

Cause

The error message indicates a misconfiguration on the LDAP side 

Resolution

• Change the LDAP server configuration so that the queries are accepted with xxx.yourdomain.com in the Distinguished name, and that no referrals are sent.
• Alternatively, the entries in the LDAP server would have to be changed so that the DN does NOT contain the text DC=xxx, this should also work.
