ASM - Email alert triggered for certificate expiry

Issue/Introduction

We have two monitors set up in ASM. We got an email alert triggered for certificate expiration. 

Do you know why would that be?  We don't see any traces of it in the logs for these 2 monitors.

Release : 10.6

 

Resolution

If you have "verify certificate" enabled in the monitor, ASM sends an alert email that the certificate is about to expire but we do NOT log a message.

When the date of expiration of the certificate is met, then ASM fails the check with the log message stating that the certificate has expired.
