UIM 20.3.1-The Admin Console link at OC setting redirection

Issue/Introduction

Clicking the button to open Admin Console points to the Primary hub IP address, and it is possible it is not accessible externally. 

In prior versions, it was possible to add the raw configure key adminconsole_url to the ump_common section of the UMP wasp to specify the external IP address not the backend ip. 

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - OPERATOR CONSOLE

Resolution

1. Open the raw configure for the Primary hub wasp and make the change there. 

 

<ump_common>
    adminconsole_url = /adminconsoleapp/

Use the format: https://<FQDN>:<ssl port>/adminconsoleapp/

2. Click Apply/Ok

wasp will restart.

3. Test again

For 20.3 ump_operatorconsole_2.08_HF3 or later is required.
