Issue/Introduction

The primary SpectroSERVER crashed when adding a new user. There were a number of dmp files created in the $SPECROOT/SS/support directory but no mdmp file from the crash.

The following is seen in all of the stack traces of the dmp files created:

00000063`b90ef390 00007ffb`0565c5ed libsskrnl!CModelDomainItcN::stopWatchAssocModelsOfModelsByIDsForRelation+0x35
00000063`b90ef3e0 00007ffb`128c70bb libssorb!POA_CsCModelDomain::_stopWatchAssocModelsOfModelsByIDsForRelation+0x8f

Environment

Release : Any

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

Memory corruption

Resolution

At the same time the User model was being created, a large Global Collection was running an update. This caused a large amount of memory to be used and resulted in some memory corruption causing the crash.

After restoring a recent backup, the user recreated the same user and the SpectroSERVER did not crash.
