Is CCI PC needed for Datacom Server 15.x ODBC client or JDBC client/proxy server?

Resolution

No, Datacom Server 15.x client does not require CAICCI PC as it did in prior releases.

Either CCI or TCP/IP can be used depending on how the Mainframe server has been configured in the PROTOCOL parameter (CCI, TCP or BOTH). 

Additional Information

Note that the JDBC proxy is only needed for Type 3 connections. Release 15.x supports Type 4 JDBC connections that don't require the JDBC proxy.
