Issue/Introduction

Librarian does not support Extended Addressability for VSAM files.
An extended address volume is a volume with more than 65,520 cylinders.
Is it possible Allocate Librarian Master file on an Extended Address Volumes (EAV)

Resolution

Librarian Master files can be put on EAV volumes as long as it is below the 65,520 cylinder line.

Librarian Master files should be defined with EATTR=NO, the data set cannot have extended attributes. If it is allocated on an EAV, it is allocated in TMS.
