ACF2 ACF2 - z/OS ACF2 - MISC

Issue/Introduction

Two production LPARs and one TEST that all share the ACF2 databases (LogonIDS, InfoSTOR, and Rules).   The TEST LPAR's ACF2 set up with an LDS connection to an outside node (cloud based) that is successfully synchronizing any LogonID changes that are made on that system.

Is there a way to make the LDS on our TEST LPAR aware of ACF2 LogonID changes made on the two production systems that share ACF2 databases?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

LDS processing of administrative is based on commands that INSERT, CHANGE, and DELETE logonid fields as well as password changes during system entry validation on the lpar running LDS. In a shared database environment all lpars would need to be running LDS in order for the commands and password changes  to be sent to the outside node.

So both the production and test lpars would need to have LDS running to process commands that are entered on any of the three lpars.
