Issue/Introduction

Getting error messages doing the apply check of the PTFs for CICS/TS 5.6 and Common Services 15.0 (SO07688 and SO13027): 

GIM41802I    JCLIN PROCESSING WAS SUCCESSFUL FOR SYSMOD SO07688.
GIM65802E ** MODULE CAS972 IS NEEDED TO BUILD THE FOLLOWING LOAD MODULES FOR SYSMOD SO07688 BUT IS NOT FOUND. THE MODULE IS NOT IN DISTRIBUTION ZONE TSTMDZN, AND SYSMOD SO06476 WHICH LAST REPLACED THE MODULE IS NOT IN THE SMPPTS.
GIM65905I    - LOAD MODULE CAS9C72.

 

 

Environment

COMMON SERVICES 15.0 - CICS/TS 5.6 - z/OS supported releases -    

Cause

The product was not accepted in the distribution zone (CAW1F00 fmid). 

Resolution

PTF SO06476 (SO07688 prerequisite) is superceded by the CAW1F00 fmid.

The CAW1F00 fmid has to be accepted in the DLIB zone before applying the PTFs on this fmid. 

Then apply SO07688 and SO13027 in the target zone.
