Basics on how to configure the ntperf probe.
- ntperf v2.09 or higher
You can use the ntperf probe/ntper64 for a 64-bit machine, to configure any monitoring for any Windows performance counter that is present on the local UIM robot machine.
Under the Setup Tab, set the monitoring interval, e.g., every 300 seconds.
Select the Status Tab, rt-click to add a new profile.
Object Selection
- Select the Performance 'Object.'
- Select the desired Counter.
- Select the instance (if applicable/available)
- Select the 'Alarm on Value' Tab to setup threshold, operator ad value, samples, etc.

Under Miscellaneous, Select 'Quality of Service Messages on" and select value and/or whatever you want to collect values on.
Define a Name and description for the performance counter.
