Issue/Introduction

Uprocs that generate reports or extraction using the commands uxrepgen / uxrepadd as below fail systematically:

 

COMMAND: $UNI_DIR_ROOT/reporter_client/exec/uxrepgen -REPNODE Reporter -DEFINITION Backup_Jobs_Stats

Server communication error.null [Reporter:10630]

Release : 6.x

Component : Reporter Client

 

Cause

Wrong configuration in uxsrsrv.sck file

Reporter node related line was missing from the file.

Resolution

Add a line mapping the Reporter node name and its hostname inside <reporter_client>/mgr/uxsrsrv.sck


Reporter hostname_or_ip_of_your_reporter_server
