ASM - Webdriver IE script execution fails

CA App Synthetic Monitor DX Application Performance Management

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to execute some webdriver monitors on a Windows 7 32 bit machine using IE having followed the procedure  described here:

When testing a monitor the execution fails and the Windows slave system has this popup error

The event view shows the following error that happened during the execution

Windows cannot access the file for any of the following reasons: There is a problem with the network connection, with the disk where this file is stored or with the storage drivers installed on this computer or the disk is not found Windows closed the program line server for the IE driver for this error

Cause

The Selenium driver software is very environment sensitive - a version combination that works in one environment may not work on another

Resolution

In this situation changing the IEDriverServer from version 3.150 to 3.141.59 solved the problem
