Error "the selected file appears to contain more than one MIB definition" when compiling a mib in Spectrum OneClick MIB Tools

Issue/Introduction

When compiling a mib in Spectrum OneClick MIB Tools, we are seeing the following error:

"The selected file appears to contain more than one MIB definition. Each MIB definition needs to be in a separate file."

 

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : SPCAPP - Spectrum OneClick

Cause

There is more that one mib definition in the file to be compiled.

Resolution

A mib definitions starts with a "BEGIN" statement and ends with an "END" statement. Look for multiple "BEGIN" and "END" statements and separate them into individual mib files. Then import each individual mib file.
