Issue/Introduction

Informatica Agent throws the following error at startup:

20201208/102009.680 - U02000204 Error recreating the Job instance: 'com.uc4.ex.restart.RestartObjectInputStream$ClassNotAllowedException:Class name not accepted: java.util.GregorianCalendar'

This has no direct impact the Information agent ability to work.

Environment

RA Core: 12.1.1+build.936
Informatica RA Solution: 5.0.1-GA+build.20
AE: 12.2.0 hf1

Cause

Officially communicated cause : It only happened when cross the year end to new year 2020. The agent was down before the new year, some jobs are incomplete. When the agent is back on in the new year, the agent try to restore the interrupted job and throws this error message.

But currently: this can happen any time the Informatica Agent is stopped while Informatic jobs are currently running. At startup, the RA Agent agent restores these already running jobs.

Resolution

This is a bug that is fixed with the RA core of version 12.3.5. It is expected to come out in February 2021.
