Symantec Identity Manager - Is the Runtime Health accurate for determining database health?

Issue/Introduction

The Runtime health monitor is displaying our database health in red. Should we be concerned?

Environment

Identity Manager 14.3

Cause

The runtime health monitor is not fully developed and is known to display incorrect information. Sustaining engineering is looking to further develop this but nothing has been done at this time.

Resolution

You can safely ignore the red. However, it is recommended that you keep your task persistence row count under 50k for peak performance.

The task value of 50k is not a limit but a suggestion.

 

Maintaining a healthy row count is done through configuring a recurring 'Cleanup Submitted Tasks' job during off-peak hours. See the below link to our documentation for scheduling this task.
