Issue/Introduction

You would like to configure the Messaging Gateway to obtain malware definitions via TLS (HTTPS) for security reasons.

Environment

Messaging Gateway 10.7 before 10.7.4

Cause

Prior to version 10.7.4 of the Messaging Gateway, there is no option to use HTTPS to download malware definitions from the Broadcom malware definition servers.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in Messaging Gateway 10.7.4 by adding a new configuration option. Upgrade at your earliest convenience to have this option available.
