Issue/Introduction

You find the Messaging Gateway MTA process has crashed with the following error:

Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 0x00007fb71ea7c3b1 in __strlen_sse2 () from /lib64/libc.so.6

Environment

Messaging Gateway 10.7 before 10.7.4n

Cause

This is a rare known issue with the MTA service that can occur when resolving some SPF records.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in Messaging Gateway 10.7.4. Upgrade at your earliest convenience.
