Issue/Introduction

We are looking to validate why we are only seeing 2 CPU on a switch that has 4 CPUs:

Core 0: CPU utilization for five seconds: 23%; one minute: 21%; five minutes: 20%
Core 1: CPU utilization for five seconds: 26%; one minute: 28%; five minutes: 28%
Core 2: CPU utilization for five seconds: 4%; one minute: 4%; five minutes: 4%
Core 3: CPU utilization for five seconds: 0%; one minute: 6%; five minutes: 3%

Resolution

The MIB is only showing us 2 CPUs. If the device has 4 this would indicate an problem with the vendors MIB since only two are represented in the MIB. We recommend you contact the vendor or possibly your router/switch team to see if they get the MIB to represent all 4 CPU's on the device.
