devices in CAPC who have DOWN status in Data Collector?

Issue/Introduction

I have a group of devices that are not reachable because they have been deleted from Spectrum.  Technically, they should be marked RETIRED but that is one issue I just noticed.  But the lifecycle on these devices show Active instead of Retired and STATUS shows down.  When I go to monitored devices in CAPC.  Then choose a device that was deleted from Spectrum in CAPC.  When I view the DETAILS tab for that device under Monitored Devices.   I see the "Status" attribute shows Down.

Resolution

In CAPM  3.7 we stopped Spectrum from retiring devices in CAPM when deleted or set to retired in Spectrum. The only lifecycle changes that are processed between Spectrum and CAPC are active and maintenance
