Issue/Introduction

Installing a 14.3 Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager fails with the error message "Failed to install Management Server webserver service" when a previously installed SEPM was enrolled with the cloud and FIPS mode was enabled.

Cause

The Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud Hub application was not uninstalled when the SEPM was removed.

Resolution

Uninstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud Hub from Programs and Features then run the Management Server Configuration Wizard to complete the install of 14.3
