Export Threshold Profiles and related Items in DX NetOps

Issue/Introduction

Looking to see if there is a way to export all threshold profiles into a CSV to allow for review.

How do I export all the devices/interfaces with applied threshold profile on them using open API/Odata query or any other method.

How to export Threshold Profiles with Threshold Event Rules to see which items are applied, from DX NetOps Performance Management.

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

There is currently no method available to export Threshold Profiles and the Items tied to them.

Resolution

The limited available information can be obtained from the following Data Aggregator-based REST endpoints.

• <scheme>://<DA_HostName>:<Port>/rest/EventProfiles
• <scheme>://<DA_HostName>:<Port>/rest/EventProfileGroups
• <scheme>://<DA_HostName>:<Port>/rest/EventRules

Replace the following:

• Default <scheme> is HTTP. If configured for SSL, use HTTPS.
• Replace <DA_HostName> with the DA hostname or IP address.
• Default <Port> is 8581. Use the configured port if SSL for HTTPS is configured.
