For FDM masking does the actual masking executable need read access to Oracle System tables and views to mask the data?

Issue/Introduction

The DBA has granted me read/write/select on tables that need to be masked. We developed the masking in the lower environment. In the actual masking environment what roles/privileges does FDM need to read system catalog tables or views?

As per development:

Their DBA should be able to tell him what is needed.

a quick google tells me
SELECT ANY DICTIONARY

But found this as well:

I don't think it is an FDM, but more tied to the database itself.
