WA Agent for PeopleSoft: Installer failed: java.lang.NullPointerException

Issue/Introduction

The PeopleSoft Plugin fails to add in WA Agent R12.  The following error is seen.

Installer failed: java.lang.NullPointerException

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA Workload Automation Agent for PeopleSoft

Cause

Incorrect data supplied during plugin installation.

Resolution

Supply correct database information during plugin installation. Make sure you supply the correct database user ID and password during plugin installation.

 

Additional Information

Note: If WA Agent was installed or upgraded using 3rd party provisioning software (e.g. Chef, Ansible), then re-install the agent manually and add the plugins.
