Error: Cannot delete folders which contain other folders

Issue/Introduction

User is unable to delete a folder even if they have the user permission to delete folders. The folder can be empty or contain other folders. Diving deeper in the tree structure, the user is also unable to delete empty folders.

The error is "<Folder Name> - Cannot delete folders which contain other folders."

Release : 12.x  21.x

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

Run the DB Utility with the repair option like this -

UCYBDBun -BREPAIR

If this fails, there may be a chance that the folder was never deleted from the database. Make sure that the DB maintenance was run recently.
