Snmpcollector probe disabled - port missing

Issue/Introduction

Snmpcollector probe is disabled state and is not taking port and PID.

No logs being generated

 

Environment

Release : UIM any version

Component : UIM - SNMPCOLLECTOR

Cause

snmpcollector.cfg was corrupted with 0kb, probably due Anti Virus Scan.

Resolution

Possible solutions:

1 - Check snmpcollector.cfg.BAK if present in snmpcollector folder, if yes, just rename it and use it as snmpcollector.cfg

2 - Restoring the snmpcollector.cfg from backup and restarting the probe

3 - Stop the probe, rename the entire snmpcollector folder, delete the probe from IM, deploy a new snmpcollector probe from scratch.
