Issue/Introduction

During a RESTORE of a file the following message are displayed and the file can't be restored:

ADSDM910*0097 ddd              NOT RESTORED - ARCH
ADSDM171 2913 RESTORE OF DSNAME = ddd FAILED      
ADSDM314 3004 DSNAME = (ddd ) ON VOLUME = (vol1)

Resolution

No archive is available to perform the restore/recover of the data set (ddd). This is caused by the ARCHVOLS record (vvv) for the data set either being disabled, and either no copy/tertiary archive exists or the copy/tertiary archive is disabled, or sysparm RESCOPYT is set to cause use of copy/tertiary archives, and either no copy/tertiary archive exists or the copy/tertiary archive is disabled.
