Unexpected server error at SEPM login if it was installed on a server without an enabled NIC

Issue/Introduction

A 14.3 RU1 Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager not work correctly if it was installed on a server without an enabled network adapter.

Environment

14.3 RU1

Cause

Certificate validation fails during installation because the SEPM installer is unable to get the host name if all network cards are disabled.  Viewing the server.crt in the ...\apache\conf folder will show the Issued to and Issued by fields are blank.

Resolution

Enable at least one network adapter, uninstall the SEPM, then reinstall the SEPM.
